GST Registration

GST registration is a process by which a taxpayer gets himself registered under GST. Once a business is successfully registered, a unique registration number is assigned to them known as the Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN).According to the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, any business with a turnover of Rs. 40 lakh and above must register for GST. For north-eastern and hill states, the turnover threshold for GST registration is Rs. 10 lakh.

For Registration:

Documents Required for Proprietor / Individual:

1. Adhar card

2. PAN card

3. Passport size Photograph

4. Commercial Rental Agreement / Property Tax Paid Receipt

5. Electricity Bill (Business Address)

6. Mobile Number & Mail ID


Documents Required for Partnership Firm:

1. Adhar card (Each Partner)

2. PAN card (Each Partner)

3. Passport size Photograph (Each Partner)

4. Mobile Number&Mail ID (Each Partner)

5. Commercial Rental Agreement / Property Tax Paid Receipt

6. Electricity Bill (Business Address)

7. Partnership PAN

8. Partnership Deed

9. Authorized Signatory Document (Signed by all Partners)


Documents Required for LLP / Private Limited Company :

1. Aadhar card (Each Director)

2. PAN card (Each Director)

3. Passport size Photograph (Each Director)

4. Mobile Number & Mail ID (Each Director)

5. Commercial Rental Agreement / Property Tax Paid Receipt

6. Electricity Bill (Business Address)

7. Partnership PAN

8. Partnership Deed

9. Authorized Signatory Document (Signed by all the Director)

GST Approval Timeline: Generally, it will take up to 7 working days from the next day of GST ARN is generated
